Welcome to the heart of Glasgow's digital media community

The Hub

Offering flexible office units from 127 square feet upwards, together with flexible leases that allow businesses to expand as they win new contracts and flourish, The Hub provides more than just high quality office space. It’s all about building a seriously creative community environment where businesses can gather, share resources, ideas and concepts, and socialise as well as work. The Hub has its own fully licensed café bar and a central atrium which is used to host exhibitions and events.

Opened for business in Februay 2009, The Hub is already home to several of the country’s most cutting-edge digital media organisations, including Shed Media Scotland (Footballers’ Wives, Waterloo Road, Hope Springs, Being Victor), The Glasgow School of Art’s world-renowned Digital Design Studio, Interactive Scotland, Crackit North, 12 Yard (Eggheads, Who Dares Wins), RHA Design and Pocapoc.

Businesses can be up and running at The Hub within just 48 hours of signing a lease.

“I think we’ll find in the future that many international companies will be interested in perhaps co-locating with us and other organisations. People will be able to interact very directly with one another, share expertise, share facilities and share technology. And that’s very, very exciting.”

Professor Paul Anderson, Director, Glasgow School of Art

“Being around other people, like-minded companies and companies that you may not have normally met is something that was really interesting.”

Margaret Scott, Head of Business Development, Shed Media Scotland

“We are delighted to extend our successful business model providing high quality flexible space for the media and creative industries in this smashing location in Glasgow. This building is the third that Helical have created of this type, the others being The Shepherd’s Building in Shepherd’s Bush and Battersea Studios, Battersea.”
