Nowhere is better connected in terms of digital media and creative neighbours than the Digital Media Quarter, but what about all those other everyday essentials?
The Clyde Arc bridge – or Squinty bridge as it’s known locally – provides instant access to nearby shops, cafés and restaurants while a two-minute drive takes you right into the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.
If you’re travelling further afield, the Digital Media Quarter is well served by established transport links, including road, rail, bus and underground networks. There are two subway stations within a 5 to 10 minute walk – Cessnock and Ibrox. The nearest mainline station is the Exhibition Centre, just 10 minutes from the BBC.
Road links include Govan Road with close links to the M8 and M77 motorway systems at Junctions 23 and 24 on the M8. Local bus services provide connections to Glasgow city centre and beyond.
