Scottish broadcaster STV has invested £125,000 in a 25 per cent stake in Kowalski Television, a new independent production company that will look to make factual entertainment TV shows.
STV has made the investment as part of a new partnership with the Scottish Co-Investment Fund (SCF). The £72 million fund set up by Scottish Enterprise invests from £100,000 to £1 million in financing deals of up to £2 million.
The SCF has matched STVs £125,000 investment and will also take a 25 per cent stake in the start-up company.
